PAGES – A book sale to support Grove Park Home. More than just used books, read here about what to expect at the “biggest little book sale” in town. This event will open our doors to our neighbours, whether they be book donors, book buyers or volunteers.
PAGES Book Sale
The PAGES book sale is located in the auditorium at Grove Park Home. Enter at the front doors and you won’t miss it. Books will be sorted on tables by subject to make your browsing easy. While cash is appreciated, debit and credit cards will be accepted for purchases over $20. Buy a PAGES book bag for $5 and your first book is free. The cafe will be open for coffee, tea and sweet treats.
“pages” book sale will offer a many volunteer opportunities. From the gathering of donated books, to sorting the collection, to the sale weekend itself, we will need lots of extra hands. Call us to see how you can help.
What is a book sale without donated books? This is the time to sort out your bookshelves and donate your gently used and good quality books to a good cause. Please pack your books in manageable boxes or bags as our volunteers will get them out of your vehicle for you. Donation days are June 2, 3, 4 from 9-3. Please call if you need an alternate time or books to be picked up.
The “pages” book sale has been created to invite the community into our Home. More than a fundraiser, this soon-to-be annual event will bring together service clubs, schools and the neighbourhood to accept donations, offer volunteer opportunities and to grab great books at great prices. If you are a group that wants to be involved, please contact us on this information sheet.
