Long Term Care at Grove Park Home
Providing Exceptional Care
The Home cares for 143 residents and is licensed by The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. The Home has a strong record of compliance related to Ministry regulations and is accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). Services and programs are provided to the frail elderly; many have a number of chronic conditions or suffer from some degree of cognitive impairment or dementia.
When you visit our Home you can expect to find common spaces such as our cafe, auditorium, and chapel. You will also find personal and common resident areas. Outdoor visiting spaces include beautiful gardens.
There is always a lot happening here. We provide a person-centered approach to care focusing on mind, body and soul. A personalized care plan addressing nursing, restorative services, meals, and recreation activities is implemented for all residents.
Nursing staff, restorative care, physiotherapists, and dieticians are included in your care team at Grove Park Home. Staff are dedicated and caring, bringing the very best services to residents.
Applications are coordinated by the North Simcoe Muskoka – Local Health Integration Network. The NSM LHIN determines eligibility and provides a priority list to our Home. You will be contacted when a suitable bed is available.
Don’t take our word for it
Here’s what people say about us
My mother, Lola, lives at Grove Park Home and the staff have become an extended family. We visit mom often, but when we can’t be there, we are comforted in the knowledge that she is safe and well cared for. Staff on my mom’s unit are terrific and I know they are given support and encouragement to provide care unique to my mom’s needs. Grove Park Home is a special place staffed with caring people. Our community is stronger because of the work they do every day. Brian Moosang
