The “Club” provides a structured program of social, recreational and educational activities for seniors.
Senior Encounter provides stimulation and socialization for those living at home that may be isolated or lonely, while promoting independence.
A day at the “Club” also provides needed respite for families and caregivers.
Services:
- Escorted round trip, door to door transportation within a limited catchment area of Grove Park Home
- Diet-controlled, full-course hot lunch with 2 snacks provided
- Assistance with ambulating, toileting and eating needs if necessary
- 3 qualified staff to provide regularly scheduled activities, supervision and guidance
- Access to the hair salon
Program Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9:15am-3:30pm
- Wednesday and Friday 9:15am-3:00pm
Eligibility:
- Registration with Community Care Access Center
- Medical report from physician certifying ability to participate in program
- Ability to participate within the limits of care of the program

- Daily program fee
- Transportation fee extra
- Hair salon fees extra
