All departments play an important role in the quality of life for our Residents. Below is a list or our departments, see which area(s) suit you best and where you can make the difference in the lives of others. We offer flexible hours and shifts, full time, part time and casual.
Administration (providing support to the business operations of the Home)
Environmental Services – Housekeeping – Laundry – Maintenance (providing a safe and clean environment for the residents and staff)
Food Services – Cooks – Dietary Aides (serving nutritious and delicious meals to our Residents)
Hairdresser (with an on-site salon, helping residents look and feel their best)
Nursing – RN – RPN – PSW (providing hands on care and assessments, assisting with the residents activities of daily living)
Physiotherapy – Physiotherapist – Physiotherapist Assistant (identifying and improving resident movement and function)
Programs (encouraging and providing enjoyment through meaningful activities)
Resident Service Attendants (providing an extra set of hands on the unit(s) assisting our staff and residents
Restorative Care (increasing the residents independence, promoting safety and preserving function)
Retirement Living (a unique retirement community of 14 residents offering support services and socialization)
Senior Encounter (with clients from the community spending the days with activities, socialization and food)
All positions require the following up to date documentation upon hire:
- Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening that is less than six (6) months old at the time of hire (for new hires 18 years of age and older)
- As a condition of employment, candidates are required to submit documented results of a 2 step TB test, as per Public Health requirements
- Ministry of Labour – 4 Steps to Health & Safety Awareness certificate (5 step certificate required for Registered Staff)
