Mulberry Lane operates independently of Grove Park Home. Admission is not directed by HSSO, rather it is an application process based on availability and eligibility. These boutique Retirement Suites are the responsibility of the Director of Retirement & Community Services and the application process begins with a pre-booked tour and interview.
Mulberry Lane is best suited for individuals aged 60+. As each suite is designed for one resident, the unit is not a suitable option for couples. Designed for the independent senior, personal care is not included, however Mulberry Lane residents may qualify for care from HSSO or private agencies.
All meals and refreshments, exercise groups, housekeeping, laundry, and programs are included in monthly rental rates. Suite rentals average $2600/month and vary by unit size. Rental contracts are mandatory and first month rent and security deposit are due upon signing.
Most expenses are included in monthly rent. However extra fees apply such as phone and cable services, hair salon bookings, and guest meals. A list of these fees are available upon request.
